Commonwealth Academy is currently seeking to hire a Differentiated Learning Specialist to join its team for the 2020-2021 school year. The Differentiated Learning Specialist collaborates with the Division Directors, Department Chairs, and Faculty to ensure the practice of differentiation is occurring in all classrooms. The Differentiated Learning Specialist focuses on research-informed, student-focused instruction, and works with teachers on ensuring that all students are adequately challenged. Whenever relevant, the Differentiated Learning Specialist works with teachers on developing specific enrichment lessons and projects.

Qualified candidates should possess strong oral and written communication skills and be proficient with technology. The ideal candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the content area, current instructional and behavior management techniques, curriculum development, and best practices of a 21st-century instruction.

A Bachelor's degree is required, a Master's degree is highly preferred, and certification in Special Education is preferred.
